Top attractions in Snowdonia

Snowdonia is a wild and diverse landscape with the most stunning, green wall to wall scenery, mountains, rivers, woodlands and lakes. It’s nature at its best. I call it our back garden. Only a short drive from any point in north Wales I can be out climbing, hiking, swimming, mountain biking or paddle boarding in 40 minutes. It’s a fabulous playground for the keen outdoor lover. It’s an awesome place to take the family too, with tons of nice places to visit. I put the list together below for families visiting the area really, i’ll do another blog for the solo outdoor enthusiasts in due course. Enjoy!

The National Slate Museum is one of the attractions to see in Dinorwig quarry on the Elidir Mountain. This is because it enables visitors to know more about old Victorian workshops in detail that shaped Wales as well as its people. Beddgelert is one of the perfect destinations for those who want to take enjoy their holidays with family members and others. Situated in the mountains of Snowdonia Berddgelert, is the home to one of the more poignant stories in Welsh Royal history.   1. Swallow Waterfalls

Swallow Waterfalls located on the river Llugway is an ideal destination for those who want to enjoy their holidays in a natural and peaceful environment. Furthermore, visitors can even explore significant wildlife near the waterfalls. There are parking fees for parking visitors. But you can park a bit further down the road and walk up to the area.

Portmeirion is one of the popular attractions in Snowdonia that bring a large number of visitors every year.
