The Anglesey Sea Zoo lies close to Menai Strait shore. A visit here gives everyone an opportunity to take in the wonders of Caernarfon Castle as well as the mountains of Snowdonia. Here, biologists are ready to teach you and your family members all about the different animal species that make their home in North Wales. Be sure to check out the café, and in clear weather, make sure that you pay a visit to the giant octopus bouncy castle.
This wonderful courthouse dates back to olden days. The courthouse itself is located right opposite to Beaumaris Castle, which lies in the heart of the town. The courthouse is open from April to October each year. The courthouse was constructed in 1514 and retains much of its original structure.
This part of North Wales is famous for metal extraction and there is strong evidence that shows that metals were mined here as far back as the Bronze Age. Visitors to the Copper Kingdom will learn how copper changed the lives of those who made Anglesey their home and how many of them mined copper and it became their livelihood.

This is great place for a family visit as it has much to offer including exotic butterflies and giant-sized bugs, and much more. In sunny weather, there are plenty of outdoor adventure activities available for the entire family.
The Lloyd George Museum is truly fascinating. Located very close to Criccieth it provides you with a glimpse of the life of one of the most well-known and respected of the twentieth century. The life of Lloyd George can be seen through various objects, and there is also a film based on George that everyone in the family will love to see.
This excellent Victorian gothic manor house was constructed with the aim of storing the impressive art collection of the widow called Lady Elizabeth Love Jones Parry. There is also plenty of art collections to take in as too a lovely Jacobean staircase and hammer beam roof beneath which it is said the ghost of Lady Elizabeth walks.
This underground playground is truly very unique and perfect for a family visit. It is a huge playground being double the size of St. Paul’s Cathedral. You can descend 100 feet to the center of the earth and there you can enjoy a brief train ride.
The West Highland Railway is related to the Ffestiniog Railway. However, it also happens to be the longest heritage railway in all of the UK. Spanning 25 miles, this railway is truly awe-inspiring and is a must for every family.
