Sunset Walks Rhosneiger, Anglesey

This time of year is fantastic time of year if you get some blue skies to head and do a sunset beach walk. With a nice high pressure weather system over the Uk right now you can take advantage of the crystal clear bluebird skies and fresh air and head out for a walk. Sunsets if you can catch them can be the most stunning in winter time and spring.

We headed to Rhosneiger to broad beach to get some pictures of the migratory birds moving around before into their mumurations before the evening roost.

They didn’t disappoint. We are not a bird spotters by any means however, to see these amazing animals flying in formation is a spectacle.

There was a little swell lapping the shores  just enough for a few long boardsurgersrl be out in the line up. A perfect evening to be out in the water.  Broad beach is a really good destination for a surf when the conditions are right. The waves were quite small but it was perfect for the SUP crew and long boarders, more importantly it’s just being out there!

Always worth a trip out in the evenings to see what’s happening on the foreshore, we didn’t know any surf had made its way up the channel. We collected some driftwood watched the setting suns colours in the sky and the mumurations of the birds then headed back to light the Log fire and sip some red wine. Pretty good end to the day. Get out there and play!
